All the tenses of the subjunctive and imperative are primary, as they refer to future or to present time (89). E.g.
Ἕπεσθ᾿ ὅπῃ ἄν τις ἡγῆται, follow whithersoever any one leads the way. Thuc. ii. 11. Σκοπῶμεν εἰ πρέπει ἢ οὔ. Plat. Rep. 451 D.
