英語原文
In questions with τί οὐ, expressing surprise that something is not already done, and implying an exhortation to do it, the aorist is sometimes used strangely like a future. E.g.
Τί οὖν οὐ διηγήσω ἡμῖν τὴν ξυνουσίαν ; why then don't you tell us about the meeting ? Plat. Prot. 310 A. Τί οὖν οὐ καὶ Πρόδικον καὶ Ἱππίαν ἐκαλέσαμεν ; why then don't we call Prodicus and Hippias too ? Ib. 317 D. So τί οὖν οὐ &pellish; ἐσκέψω ; Id. Soph. 251. E. See also Soph. O. T. 1003.
